This is one of the first photos I took with my first digital camera. I took it in Mt. Diablo state park located near Walnut Creek, California which is where I was living at the time.

I like the subtle colors and flatness of this photo. To me, it has an abstract quality.
Neglected
I prefer portraits and landscapes to still lifes, but once in a while I find a subject I can't resist. This was one of those times.
